Which organizations can request support?
Small local Non-Governmental Organisations(NGOs), Community-based organisations (CBOs) or faith-based organisations (FBOs) that have a history of at least 3 years and a current programme for their beneficiaries that contributes to their long-term goal.
These organizations:
- promote community development and self- reliance
- enhance problem solving capacities at grassroots level
- enhance peoples’ active participation in development
- promote gender equity and advancement of women
- promote use of local resources and appropriate technologies
- promote sustainable use of natural resources and environment conservation
How to become a partner?
- An expression of interest can be sent to NGO PRO
- EOI forms will be sent to interested organizations and groups by NGO PRO.
- Applications (request for partnerships) are assessed and decided by NGO PRO executive board
- NGO PRO management provides feedback on the outcome of your application
- If you’re successful, Partnership begins by Signing a Memorandum of Understanding (outlines roles and responsibilities [i.e. supported organizations are required to produce narrative and financial reports to the NGO PRO Office located in Madang])
